So today I played Abadox, the first game from Natsume I ever encountered. The game starts with an intro cutscene in which you can see a grorious japanese space man entering a giant monster-planet. Apparently you have to rescue a princess or something idk, I havent played enough to see this anyway. After a few seconds of gameplay you quickly realize that it's one of those notoriously difficult nes games. Moreover, playing with a bootleg nes usb controller from aliexpress does NOT help! Anyway, this is your typical nes shooter like gradius or zombie nation (If you haven't played zombie nation yet, close this tab, download the rom and play it!). The aesthetics are pretty for a nes game even for a late title. As I said I didn't go really far since I suck at life (lole) and I got my ass kicked. From what I have read online, tl;dr, the ending sucks, all levels look the same and the game is tough as hell without cheat codes.
